What we can quote before we see the door
Two jobs come up often enough that we can put a range on them over the phone. A roller repair or replacement runs $90 to $200. That covers the part and the labor to swap it. While we are in there, we tighten loose rail and roller fasteners, check the cables for wear or fraying, and lubricate the rollers and springs with garage-door lubricant. Opener installation runs $217 to $538. The spread depends on the opener itself and whether the existing rail and wiring can be reused. We do not quote springs, cables, or damaged panels over the phone because those prices depend on what we find when we inspect the hardware.
What makes a repair cost more
Spring and cable work takes more time because of the safety steps required. Before winding torsion springs, we secure the door with locking pliers on the vertical track above a roller and use correctly sized solid-steel winding bars. If a cable is misaligned, we untension the system before reinstalling and re-tensioning the cable. Extension-spring doors need a safety cable installed. The local temperature swing from a January average low of 61.2 °F to a July average high of 87.8 °F works the door and its hardware, causing fasteners to loosen and cables to wear. All of this requires careful labor, placing spring or cable jobs above the roller price range.

Working with owners and property managers
With 36% of Boynton Beach homes renter-occupied and 64% owner-occupied, we regularly coordinate with both tenants and landlords. If you rent, we can send the quote directly to your property manager. The price of the repair does not change based on who pays, but we need the owner's authorization before we start.
Getting a firm number for your door
The only way to give you an exact price for issues outside of rollers and openers is to stand in front of the door and run it. The roughly 27-degree seasonal temperature range in our area is hard on metal and rubber components, leading to unpredictable wear. We inspect the entire system to see exactly what has failed. We tell you what we see and what it costs to fix. That quote is free, and if the work is simple, we can often complete it the same day.
How It Works
-
Call or Text
Tell us what you're seeing and when it started, you'll get a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
-
No-Pressure Inspections
We come out, measure what's actually happening, and walk you through what we find.
-
Know the Price First
We put the fix, the timeline, and the number on paper, take your time with it.
-
We Do the Work
Our crew does the work, checks it, and leaves the site clean. You see everything we did.
Depending on what we find, that can mean:
- Check the opener’s photoelectric eyes and auto-reversing function; the door should reverse when the beam between the eyes is interrupted.
- During maintenance, tighten loose rail and roller fasteners, check cables for wear or fraying, and lubricate rollers and springs with garage-door lubricant.
